The Men’s Ministry unites the men of the church in Bible study, fellowship and prayer. We seek to be a Spirit-led ministry that goes through the doors that are opened for us to learn, serve and share our knowledge of the Lord. Our emphasis is on growing our understanding and application of scripture as we live out the Christ life together in service and discipleship. We encourage every man in the church to be engaged in a Bible study for grow and encouragement as we live out the Christian life as husbands, fathers and in the work place.
Our SWAT (Serving, Witnessing And Teaching) Team is the externally focused arm of the Men’s Ministry and is currently providing Bible studies and Sunday services for elderly people with mobility and health issues on site at local facilities. The SWAT Team also organizes and leads Bible Hikes to reach more active people with Bible-themed hikes in the foothills of Sandia mountain. The Bible Hikes provide teaching and fellowship for Christians and seekers from churches throughout Albuquerque. With an average of 50-60 hikers at each Bible Hike, there are many opportunities to meet new people as you experience the Bible in a beautiful, outdoor environment.
